About PrepLearnio

PrepLearnio is a free in-browser practice site for 8 English exams. Original content, Wiktionary dictionary data, zero paid APIs.

PrepLearnio is a free in-browser practice site for LanguageCert, Password, IELTS, DET, PTE, TOEFL, TOEIC and Cambridge English. Our design goal: turn the genuinely repetitive parts of exam preparation — vocabulary, dictation, intensive listening, cloze — into permanently free, no-account-needed browser tools.

Why we don't depend on paid AI APIs

The repetitive core of exam preparation doesn't need expensive runtime AI: text-to-speech uses the browser's native SpeechSynthesis, recognition uses SpeechRecognition, grading is rule-based, and review is spaced repetition (SM-2). That's why we can guarantee no ad-locked features, no login walls, no paywalls.

Our content position

  • All practice items are original — we never reproduce real exam questions.
  • Dictionary data is sourced from Wiktionary (CC BY-SA 4.0), with visible attribution and links back to source.
  • PrepLearnio has no official affiliation with LanguageCert, Password, Pearson, Duolingo, IDP / British Council, ETS, or Cambridge English. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

How we sustain the site

Via Google AdSense and exam-related affiliate links. Ads never block functionality; if you'd like to discuss partnerships or institutional access, see the contact page.
